Split - Audio version now available!
Split is a M4L Device for Ableton Live.
It splits the input at a selected note, and sends different values to a selected parameter, depending on whether you play above or below your selected note.
The lower value is send whenever you play below your selection and the upper value if you play above it. You can map Split to any parameter of your choice in Ableton Live. You can also dial in a smoothing factor with Attack and Release, which define the time it takes to go from lower to upper value in ms and vice versa.
One instance lets you control up to seven parameters at once all with different values.
Tested in Ableton Live 11.
Please note that SPLITaudio is still in its beta version and still an experimental feature.
Planned features in the future:
Link upper value with played velocity.
Add full ADSR controls
Add support for PushAudio version of Split, to split an incoming audio signalDefine boundaries x to y for send i.e. send notes from C2-B4
